I can't add any more to what is above. I am thinking of you and praying for all of you. Take care of each other, that is all you can really do.

You are not alone. I wish you strength and calm in your own mind while the storm rages around you.

This is very hard to read. Sometimes the shortest posts say the most. You're all in my thoughts.

Ron, I understand where you're coming from because my family is there too. All we can do is pray that both our son's will accept God's help for recovery.

I am right here with you Ron.... If you need to talk, write or just vent, you can email me..... either way, I am walking beside you, and would carry you if I could. You and mom are an inspiration. Hang in there!

I feel every event we and our children experience, due to the disease of addiction, is one more step closer to recovery, one more step closer to our childs moment of clarity. They will choose recovery, in their time, not ours.

In prayer for all of our families and children.

You should have left him in jail long enough to get the drugs out of his system and let him feel the consequences of his actions instead of making him sign a contract you knew he couldn't keep.

What is it lately? What in the world is going on. Anonymous you are a coward and a jerk but I am guessing you already know that. Your name isn't Jeff or Tonja by any chance?

Mom and Dad, I feel your pain. Oh I do so very much. My son has been as active drug user since 16. Just turned 23. Our lives have been a long rough ride for years. And sometimes very lonely too. I commend you on your public comments and sharing. With my husband and I, we got tired of the judgemental remarks made by others, so we tend to just bear this alone now. We do the best we can. God help those people who have not had to go thru this horrible ordeal, help them to be compassionate and sympathetic, even if they don't understand how hard it is. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I pray for you and for your son. S

I know all too well the misery, fear, despair, heartache, hopelessness, anger, sadness and bitterness that the mother of a drug addicted son feels. This post speaks volumes and I'm so sorry to read it. When will the day come that drugs won't keep claiming our kids? Robbing them and us of a life. I keep praying that that day will come. Someday.
