Dear Dad and Mom ,
I am an addict... I have been reading your blog and I thank you for not "throwing" your son away and instead trying to understand his illness. I am ashamed , embarrased that I did this to myself. I'm sorry I have ruined my life .I hate living with this shameful secret of mine I am exhausted just pretending I'm happy . Once you mess with that part of your brain you can't fix it you see...I have so many regrets....I wish I could turn back time and said no ....but It's too late unfortunately just way too late...

Anonymous,

It is not too late and you have not ruined your life. Where there is life there is hope. That applies to everyone.

It is about talking to someone and seeking help. There are many that can help. Seek out a meeting speak to a counselor. Regrets are what you feel but there are people with their hand out, take their hand.

Anonymous,
What Ron said is true. Where there is life there is hope. Take his advice and seek out help. I don't think loved ones of addicts "throw away" , I think they just are not able to help without getting in the way. Please take care of yourself, you are the only person who can.

Spoke to the producer this morning. It may or may not be a go. They are trying to find someone with a girl with this problem. She's suppose to get back to me later.
